Our Pastoral Support
At Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School we are committed to nurturing the whole child within a caring Catholic community. Guided by the Gospel values and the message of Philippians 2:4 which states: “not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others”. This verse calls us to adopt a selfless, humble, and Christ-like attitude, prioritizing the needs of others in relationships, work, and community, rather than focusing only on personal gain.
We encourage all members of our school community to look not only to their own interests but also to the interests of others.
Pastoral care is central to the life of the school and underpins all teaching, learning and relationships. We aim to create a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels valued, respected and able to flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.
Pastoral care is effective when all members of the school community feel valued, safe and supported and when every child is able to thrive within the life of the school.
