Welcome to the SHiP page of the website. After many years being known as the PTA, we decided to adopt a new name – SHiP (Sacred Heart in Partnership). We feel this more accurately reflects the help we receive from the broader community.
At SHiP we have several objectives:
- Fundraise to help improve school resources (recent examples include a trip to the cinema and funding for music lessons).
- Increase parent engagement with the school. Our events are not just about money – we want to deepen the connection that parents feel they have with the school.
- Improve our profile in the community. We want members of the local community to know more about our school and the great work that goes on here.
How you can help
- Join the committee – we’re always on the lookout for more help and new ideas!
- Help at events – they all need organising.
- Attend events and help raise money!
- Become a class rep – these are a key link between parents and the school.
- Donate – we have a regular donations scheme – ask a committee member for more details.
